First Appointment Complete

Our first Design Center appointment was on Friday (July 20) and it was a wake-up call that Jeremy and I really didn't have an idea of what our style is. We haven't really decorated before so I thought my style was "rustic" however I think we are more traditional. After our appointment (we chose nothing) we decided to look online to find styles that we like.

We also took a trip to Planet Granite and browsed some great pieces of granite. I liked the Barricato:

but realized that it may not be a smart choice. We found a great choice called Lapidus:

Our first instinct was to choose lighter cabinets: 

I think we have changed our minds and are going to go with a darker finish:

Hoping to have our next appointment on July 30th. We'll be going with more suggestions and ideas.
